1. Being approached with a resource when I was going through what I was going through would not have helped. It would have been used as a weapon to belittle and ridicule me.

   1. That’s one of the points we make in the episode. If a husband presents an article to his wife to say “here’s what you’re doing wrong” or “you should be more like this wife,” he will push her farther away rather than invite her to change. J and I have lots of husbands write to us with this question, and we wanted to talk about how “resource pushing” is not a wise approach in general (although we do provide a couple suggestions for how it can work with certain kinds of resources). ~ Chris
