Our Christmas Wishes for You

It’s Christmas Eve! As rough as this year has been for many, it’s always refreshing to reach the holidays and focus again on the gift of God breaking into the world through His Son Jesus. A small babe in a manger was the beginning of great hope for all.

We also focus on hope here at KHS (Knowing Her Sexually) Ministry. Why? Because Chris and I both know what it is to have profound struggles in marriage and experience a turnaround. So whatever the physical intimacy in your marriage currently, we continue to encourage faith, hope, and love.

Specifically, though…

A Wish from J

I wish that you and yours are safe and healthy during this holiday season. If you experienced loss this year, I pray you can grieve and find comfort from God and those you love.

I pray you’ll prioritize intimacy over sex, listening over being heard, and respect over rights—not just because I’ve seen how the former often lead to the latter, but because it’s what God desires. I hope you’ll hear God’s voice clearly, recognizing not only what your spouse needs to change but what you need to work on. Hey, we’re all works in progress.

I hope you’ll awaken love together in your marriage, with sexuality but also playfulness, connection, and commitment. If your wife struggles with sex, I pray she’ll hear your heart the next time you try to address this priority.

I wish you every happiness, including the happiness of sexual oneness and pleasure in your marriage. May that be your gift now and/or in 2021.

A Wish from Chris

As you unwrap Christmas gifts with your family during the coming days, my wish for you all is that you consider how to also unwrap the ever-unfolding gift of intimacy with your wife.

Sex can be wonderful—but it isn’t the goal. Sexual intimacy brings us more deeply into oneness in our marriage. The ongoing quest of knowing your wife more deeply—and inviting her to know you—invites you to glimpse what God has in store for you in your intimacy with Him.

I pray that your marriage will grow—both in the bedroom and out—and bring you both great joy and fulfillment. I wish for you to be the kind of couple that makes other people say, “Wow, that’s the kind of marriage I want to have.”
